About Hannah

Hi Everyone! My name is Hannah (she/her) and I am a senior studying Human Biology and Public Policy with a Health Care concentration and I am so excited to be serving as an LSP Preceptor this year! I grew up in Portland, Oregon, exploring areas of medical research, public policy, community development, and social justice. At Stanford, I serve as the Co-President of the ESL student led organization, Habla, and English coach to Stanford custodial employees. I also serve in Stanford Health Advocacy and Research in the Emergency Department (SHAR(ED)) program, Stanford Women in Politics (SWIP), and Students for Environmental and Racial Justice (SERJ). On campus, I also serve as an ASSU Executive Cabinet Member as a Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and Community Building, and Residential Assistant in Muwekma-Tah-Ruk. I am passionate about addressing the social determinants of health through social, environmental, and racial justice driven approaches. Outside of academics, I enjoy learning to cook new dishes, baking, playing the saxophone, listening to music, and going on hikes. I am so excited to meet you all soon, get to know you all throughout the program, and form a supportive, fun, and inclusive community together!
