Kylee Beck

Leland Scholars Program Manager

Kylee Beck grew up in Northern California and graduated from Stanford in 2020 with a major in human biology. She is grateful to be a part of the LSP team, working together with folx across campus who are dedicated to ensuring that all of Stanford’s resources are made accessible to all students. Having been a fist-generation, low-income (FLI) student herself, she is excited by the strong student support networks and community-centered goals of programs like LSP. Ultimately she is passionate about the work being done to ensure that the university, and higher ed as a whole, openly recognizes that the diverse, intersectional experiences of FLI students belong here.

As a student, Kylee served as one of the Stanford Powwow co-chairs for two years and was an RA for Ng Humanities House. She is excited to still get to be a part of the communities that were important to her at Stanford as an undergraduate, now as professional staff. After graduating, Kylee worked on the New Student Orientation team in Academic Advising before moving to LSP. In her free time, Kylee enjoys arts and crafts (crocheting is her newest hobby) and going for walks. She will also never say no to a coffee run…
