Stephanie Fischer

About Steph

Stephanie (she/her pronouns) is a Ph.D. student in Earth Systems Science and is a Ph.D. minor with the Center for Comparative Studies in Race & Ethnicity. She also earned a B.S. in Earth Systems and B.A. in Music Composition from Stanford. Stephanie's research is focused on environmental justice, community-engaged research, and scholar-activism. During her undergraduate career, she was a student in LSP III, an RA for LSP V, and is super excited and humbled to be a graduate fellow for LSP XII! She attributes a lot of her success to the community she's made with LSP, and she can't wait to see the amazing things this cohort will do here at Stanford and beyond.

Stephanie is a proud New Yorker from a FLI (first-generation and/or low income) background, loves to sing/compose music, and drinks lots of "cawfee".
